Services for Henry Decker we held at St. Paul Church, New Alsace last Thursday at 9 a.m. Burial was held in the church cemetery. The Andres Funeral Home of Dover in charge of arrangements. He died last Monday at Margaret Mary Hospital, Batesville, following an operation.
A native of northern Kentucky, he came to the New Alsace community many years ago and settled on a farm between Yorkville and New Alsace. He was a member of the St. Paul Church since coming to Dearborn County.
Mr. Decker leaves his widow, Margaret Lyttle Decker and one son, Claude Decker of New Alsace.
