Fred ALLEN, 81, Bonnie, died at 10 a.m. January 13, 1988, at Crossroads Community Hospital.
Mr. ALLEN was born April 18, 1906, in Jefferson County, a son of Richard and Ann (KELLER) ALLEN.
On July 8, 1933, in Bonnie, he married Muriel HOWARD, who survives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with the Rev. Loy SHAW,
the Rev. Neil DAVIS and the Rev. Jerry OWENS officiating. Burial will follow in Kirk Cemetery
in Ina. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Roger (Charlene) MARCUM of Bonnie;
one grandson, Alan MARCUM of Bonnie; one grand-daughter, Robin MARCUM of Bonnie; and several
nieces and nephews.

Mr. ALLEN was a retired boilermaker. He was a member of the First Church of God in Bonnie.

Mr. ALLEN was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters and two brothers.
