William L. Sharp
William L. Sharp, 74, a retired farmer and resident of Fort Collins, Colorado for the past nine years; died at his home last Monday. He farmed at Rock Ford, Colorado before moving to Fort Collins in 1940.
Mr. Sharp was born at Bethany, August 7, 1874, and was married February 9, 1898, to Miss Florence Copeland of Sullivan. He was a memebr of the Methodist church for more than fifty years.
Surviving him are his wife; three children, Carl of Fort Collins, Lawrence of Los Angeles and Roy of San Francisco; two brothers, Lew Sharp of Bethany and Claude Sharp of Decatur; and one sister, Mrs. E.A. Roney of Bethany.
Grandchildren are Mrs. Bette Bunner of Los Angeles, Eugene, Nolan, David and Sylvia Sharp of San Francisco and Robert Lee Sharp of Fort Collins; also one great grandchild, Michael Bunner of Los Angeles.
Funeral services were held last Wednesday in Fort Collins with interment in that cemetery.
The brother and sister living in this community did not receive word of their brother's death until after the time of the funeral services, so were not able to attend them.
