Mrs. Martha Catherine Childers, 88, of Laurelville, died in a Columbus rest home Friday.
Born in Ross County, she was the daughter of Alfred and Ann McCartney. Twice married, she was the widow of George Julian who died in 1912 and Oliver Childers who died in 1941.
She is survived by a brother, Reuben L. McCartney of Mansfield.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday in Laurelville Methodist church with the Rev. Harry Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Tarlton cemetery. Friends may call in Defenbaugh Funeral Home until noon Monday.

A native of Ross County, she leaves a brother Reuben E. McCartney of Mansfield.
The body will be brought Monday to the Laurelville Methodist Church, an hour before funeral services at 2 P. M. Rev. Harry Frazier will officiate and burial will be made in the Tarlton cemetery.
