From the Daily Herald November 26 1919, Elizabeth Ellen Finley73 years of age, native of Galena Township, this county, passed away at 5:20 yesterday a the Ruth C Sabin Home, where she had lived in two years . She was the widow of Edward B. Finley who lived in Kankakee Township and who died about 9 years ago; Elizabeth was the daughter of Elijah and Ruth Bishop born September 6, 1845. She had been an invalid for two years , suffering from paralysis. She was married to Mr Finley about forty years ago( 1874). Mrs. Finley leaves the following: 1) John M. Finley of Portland, Oregon, 2) Mrs. Ora L. Hickman of La Porte , 3) Vernon B. Finley of Yamhill, Oregon, 4) Mary V. Brewer of La Porte. Two sons died. She also leaves a brother Harrison Bishop of LaPorte County. The funera will be at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Ruth C. Sabin Home and interment will be at Lambs Chapel. Cutler Brothers are in charge.
