A native of Tipton County,he was a retired farmer and carpenter. He farmed in the Straughn community for 29 years and lived in the Leonard Addition for the past 10 years.
Mr. Lilly was a member of the Church of Brethren and attended Salem United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his widow,Faustine;four daughters,Mrs. William (Joan)Cota of Indianapolis,Mrs. Patricia Bowers of New Madison, Oh.,Mrs. Floyd (Janice)Spurgin of R.1,Straughn and Mrs. Michael (Deana)Timmons of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren;and a sister,Mrs. D.L.(Ruth)Miller of Liberty.
Services for Mr. Lilly will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Marshall Funeral Home at Dublin with Rev.Floyd Elliott and Rev. Robert Todd officiating. Burial will be in Brick Cemetery at Hagerstown. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday and prior to services Sunday.
