Lot C-052. Native Houstonian; only son of Thomas Hicks
Sr. and Eliza Guy Hicks. He enlisted at Houston on 14 Jul
1917 in Co E, 5th Infantry, Texas National Guard, was sent
to France 19 Nov 1917 as a private in Co G, 143rd Infantry
Regiment, 36th Division, and died there of wounds received
in action. Reinterred here on 18 Aug 1921; VA headstone.
