Mrs. Melba S. McMillan, 92, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Pruitt Health in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Monday, October 31, 2016, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Chuck Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Paron Cemetery, Berrien County.

Mrs. McMillan was born April 11, 1924, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late George B. & Emma Hobbs Swafford. She was a homemaker who dearly loved her family. She was constant in the lives of her children and grandchildren and always made time for them. Mrs. McMillan will be remembered as “The Butterbean Lady” for sharing her special song. She was a member of Englewood Baptist Church and sang with The Bernhardt Singers at the local nursing homes.

She is survived by one daughter; and two sons; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband. Rev. Randall McMillan, Jr.; a grandson, Hitch McMillan; three brothers; and three sisters.
