ANDERSON,Ind.--William G. Carmany, 79, 817 E. 29th St., died Sunday morning in Ball Hospital, Muncie, after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Carmany was a lifelong resident of Madison County. He was a former employee of the Anderson Utility Departmant. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and the Eagles Lodge here.

Survivors include a daughter, Jackie (Mrs. Lowell) Cunningham, R.R.1 Yorktown; a sister, Gladys (Mrs. Ralph) Walker, Anderson; and a grandson, David Cunningham, New York, N.Y.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Richman Funeral Home, Yorktown, with Rev. Kenneth Hull officiating. Entombment will be in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Calling hours are after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
