Virginia was a dau of James Robert Harrell & his 1st wife Elmina Myra Kitchen. She was the 1st wife of Arthur Hudson Harcum and the mother of 1 child Helen Warren Harcum.

Obituary Virginian Pilot, November 9, 1922 reads as follows:

"Mrs. Virginia Marie Harcum, wife of Arthur H. Harcum, a former resident of this city, died at 10:45 o'clock yesterday morning in the residence, 1214 Llewellyn avenue, Norfolk at the age of 22 years. She had been in ill health for the last two years.

Mrs. Harcum was the daughter of James R. Harrell, and the late Mrs. Myra Harrell. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Helen Warren Harcum, and a sister, Mrs. F. R. Roberson, of this city.

The funeral service will be conducted in the residence at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will take place in the Oak Grove cemetery."

NOTE: Virginia's death certificate did not include a day of birth.
