" Mrs. Nancy Butt, 73, died July 2, at the home of her son, John Butt, at Princeton. She had been ill only a short time of an affliction due to old age.
Funeral services were held Friday at 10 a.m., with burial in the Princeton Cemetery.
Her husband, Abraham Butt, died seven years ago [note- he died March 3, 1928]. Two sons and a daughter, George, Asa and Mary, also are dead. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sarepta Brown, of Princeton, and Mrs. Nellie Litland, of Olney, Ill., and three sons, John, of Princeton; Roy, of Evansville and Amos, of Pleasant Hill.
Mrs. Butt usually spent the summer with her son, Amos and family, southwest of English.
