I have two sources for him and the dates for his birth would not agree. The death cert. indicated 1896, the Maple Park Cemetery Book by Ozarks Genealogical Society indicated he was 90 upon his death. Not sure the correct date. Since he does not have any monument that makes if more difficult to find out. Someone in family must know. An obituary would give an answer perhaps.
His parents listed on the death cert. as Eli B and Nancy Jane [Dishman] Queen. Cause of death cerbral apoplexy. He was a resident of the Sunshine Acres Rest Home at the time. Indicated he had been a member of the Springfield, Greene, MO. community for 32 years. He died in the Handley Hospital. Male, White, Married.
(Isaac T Queen)The 1900 census shows his birth as January 1879 born in Missouri. So he was 79. Also it is written Charles F. Queen. My g-g grandparent was Elijah B. Queen/Nancy Jane(Dishman) Barbara.
Charles never married, and while young, suffered great head and brain damage in a cyclone/Tornado in West Plains, Missouri.
As told to Billy Duane Queen and sent to Theresa Hernandez-White, January 2012.)
