Norb was born in rural OK and lived through the dust bowl of the 1930s. He was a seaman in the US Navy during WW II and participated in the battle of Okinawa. When he returned stateside, he married Elyne T Byerley in 1948. In 1955 they moved to Brighton, Adams, CO, where they designed and built a home. Norb worked as a construction supervisor and expeditor. They raised a family for almost 30 years. In 1978 they divorced, and Norb moved to Texas, where he met and married Martha Dell Frost Wright. Norb died in 1993.
