Barbara Storm was also from an early American family. Her father was John Storm who served in Captain Ballard Smith's 1st Virginia Regiment in the Revolutionary War. Her brother, James was a pioneer preacher in the mountains of Kentucky.

In addition to the individual gravestones, Barbary and William McHargue's names are inscribed on a tall, white, four-sided monument that sits to the right of their graves. Barbary's name is on the left side of this stone with William's on the opposite side. The MCHARGUE name is found on the front and a verse is inscribed on the back of stone. Photo taken September 2010.

Headstone for Barbary McHargue transcribed below. Transcriber was unable to read all information on "Age" line and used the ~ symbol to denote this fact. Furthermore, the verse inscription at bottom is incompletely transcribed and it is believed the remainder of verse is below ground level. Photo taken in September 2010.
