Carolina Svensdotter's daugher Maria, remained in Sweden and married Anders Jonasson. Her daughter, Sophia, married Elof Ekström on 1911. As a young man Elof began work at the railroad and continued there until his retirement in 1946. He was assigned to serve in many different places: Strålsnäs, Södervidinge, Skottorp and Frinnaryd. Both he and his wife, Sofia, were members of the Baptist Union. After his retirement he lived in Stockaryd and was later a member of the Pentecostal. Elof was interested in bee-keeping and a member of the local Beekeepers Association.
