She was confirmed in the Reformed church at Winesburg, when 13 years old, later she became a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and remained in that faith until the end. Her sufferings were many but the companionship of Jesus has been the sweetest on earth for her. Her greatest desire was to get nearer and nearer that passionate heart that broke and bled for her on Calvary. She leaves to mourn her loss two sisters and five brothers and many nieces and nephews.
