Earl Arnold ALBERS, son of Mr. and Mrs. George ALBERS and brother of Dr. V. G. ALBERS died in Steamboat Springs Monday at the home of his parents. He had been ill since
February 14 and came to Steamboat from his home in Wallace, Neb. about three weeks ago. Mrs. E. A. ALBERS his wife, arrived from Wallace Monday evening.

Funeral sevices were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church. Rev. G. E. Pennel was the minister in charge. Members of the I.O.O. F. Lodge also took part
in the service. Pallbearers were friends of Earl ALBERS, who came from Wallace, Neb. to serve in that capacity, Don MELTON, George RODEL, Earl GIFFORD, V. D. WYATT, Harry STOWDER and H. E SCHROEDER, others who came for the funeral were Mrs. H. E. SCHROEDER, of Wallace, Henry FRAKER and Ervin FRAKER of Haxton, Colo. and an uncle,
R. H. WAGER, of Fremont, Neb. The latter is a brother of Mrs. George ALBERS.

Kathryn ALBERS sang "In the Garden." The male quartet comprising Dr. M. L. GRAFORD, Dr. E. A, JACKSON, Henry ZEHNER and Franklin EVANS sang "Old Rugged Cross" and
"Sometimes We'll Understand" Mrs. Henry ZEHNER was pianist. The service was attended by a large number of friends of the Albers families. The floral tributes were beautiful. A. W. Heyer was funeral director. Interment was in the Steamboat Springs cemetery.

Earl A. ALBERS is survived by his wife, a son, Robert George, age 4, of Wallace, Neb. his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George ALBERS, and brother, Dr. V. G. ALBERS of Steamboat
Springs.

He was born February 17, 1903, at Hallem, Neb. In 1914 he came with his parents and brother to Colorado and settled between Haxtum and Holyoke. He attended the Holyoke high school from which he was graduated. He was active in athletics, taking part in football, track and wrestling, After graduation he attended business college in Lincoln
Neb. In 1924 he went to Wallace, Neb. where he since has been connected to the Citizens Security Bank. In 1931 he was married to Miss Margaret WAGNER of Fremont, Neb.

Mr. ALBERS was a member of the I. O. O. F. and Rebeckah Lodges. When he was 19 he united with the Presbyterian church, of which he was a member at the time of his death.

In addition to his relatives he leaves a host of friends, who grieve at the passing of a fine young man.
