John was at Pearl Harbor on 7 Dec. 1941 when Japanese attacked. When he returned home, his mother had died & his father lay dying of cancer. He had already met Agnes Bertha Dice at a dance in New York City and they married the same year. John became an engineer under the GI Bill. He spent many nights studying with cotton in his ears while his son cried for the 2AM bottle. His job took them to Pa.& N.J. They had two sons, Kent Warner Hall & Bruce Michael Hall. They moved to Venice, Florida in 1977. John retired in 1983.
