Mrs. Mary Ann Guy died at her home in this city, Tuesday, September 9, 1913 at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 3 days.
Mary Ann Archbald was born at Boston, Mass., October 27, 1821. In June 1866 she was married to Charles V. Guy and in that year they came here. Mr. Guy died in October 1892, and from 1894 until 1898 Mrs. Guy lived with her sister, Mrs. A. M. Claflin at Salina, Kansas. She returned to this city in 1898 and purchased the W. D. Parker residence which had ever since been her home. In the Fall of 1907, she was afflicted with a serious illness which left her an invalid for the remainder of her life.
The funeral services will be held to-morrow (Friday) afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, at the home, conducted by Rev. William J. Gray. River Falls Journal 9-11-1913
