Christian was the son of Mathias Lecrone (various spellings) & Barbara Wilmer.

He married Catharine Sprinkle in Fayette Co. Her sister Elizabeth married his brother Daniel.

The extended family, including Catharine's widowed & remarried mother moved from Fayette Co. to Fairfield Co., OH about 1838.

Christian & Catharine had 11 children: Reuben; Amanda M. (Shane); James M.; Catharine; Malinda (Siniff); Albert; Christian; Leroy W.; Gilbert; John C.; & Ellen L. (Johnston).

The spelling of their surname has several variations, including Le Crone, Lecrone, Leckrone, etc.
