Rev. Orbin Doss, a native of Arkansas, had lived in Turlock since 1979. He was a Free Will Baptist church pastor in Arizona, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and in California at Hughson and Modesto. As a pastor, he served on various boards and committees for his denomination, wherever he was asked to serve, and was always faithful to its causes and ministry. He was an interesting speaker and well-liked by all his acquaintances and many friends.
He is survived by his wife, Cleo; two sons, Don Doss of Hanford, and Phil Doss of Porterville, a daughter, Sue Lindsey of Rio Vista; two brothers, five sisters, including Nellie Howey of Gustine; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren
