Theodore Deckwa Called By Death
One of Turlock's oldest residents, Theodore H. Deckwa, was summoned by death this morning at his home on 797 Kenwood Avenue. He was born in Germany eighty years ago and spent the past twenty years of his life in California. He had been a resident of Turlock for nine years.
Besides his wife, Dorothy Deckwa, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Andrew Schendel and Mrs. Dan Schendel of Delhi, and the following sons; Ernest and Carl of Washington; George and William of Turlock; Henry and Theodore, Jr. of Kansas.
The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at two o'clock from the M. E. church, with Rev. Charles Irones officiating. Enterment will be made in the Turlock cemetery, under the direction of the O'Hara Funeral Home.
