Mrs. Lorene Cross Emerson Tugman, aged 58, resident of De Queen, died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 1988, at her home. Funeral will be held at 10 A. M. Saturday, Sept., 3 in Wilkerson Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Cannon officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Ida Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 18, 1930 in Lockesburg.
Survivors include her husband, Benny Tugman, De Queen; two sons, Charles Ray Emerson of Mildland, Texas and John Emerson of Denton, Texas.; one daughter, Lori May of Mildland, Texas; four brothers, Virgil Cross, De Queen, Clerman Cross, Mesquite, Texas, Robert Cross, Houston and Bill Cross of Conway; three sisters, Vera Hall of Rising Star, Texas, Elizabeth Ann Cox, De Queen and Peggy Jo Pettigrew of Horatio; and four grandchildren.
