Burial was in the Columbia Hill Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Myers died early Wednesday in Columbia Heights Nursing Home after a long illness.
He was a retired farmer, a former member of the Caldwell Parish School Board and a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. J. Blake Adams of Columbia and Mrs. E. Patton Gore of Metairie and five grandsons.
Pallbearers were Glen Meredith, Mack Shores, Billy Wallace, Tommy Parker, Jackie Barrett and Leonare Gregory.
The family requests memorials be made to the Haven Chapel Fund.
