Obit: Death summoned William R Ball yesterday morning at 6:30 o'clock at the home of his son, William O Ball, 224
Spencer St. He had been ill but 2 weeks. Ball was a native of Missouri and 62years of age. He had resided in California the past 40 years, coming to Modesto about a month ago. The decedent is survived by his wife, Isabelle Ball and 9 children, eight of whom reside in the vicinity of Stockton.
The funeral will be held this afternoon from the chapel of Bowker, Wood & Shannon, 921 Twelfth St. The Rev H S Saxby will officiate. Interment will be made in the Citizen's
Cemetery.
