***Info about Samuel. He is the son of Thomas and Harriet Kidley Crowther Poole. I have been unable to find the death dates of his parents, but his grandmother, Ann Crowther, brought him and his brother James from Wales to the US in 1888. He lived with his uncle Samuel Crowther (Harriet's brother) and his family, and thus adopted the name Crowther. As far as I know, his brother James kept the name Poole.***
