Blanch Mae Alexander Middleton age 102, died 26 Dec 1996 in the Durand Convalescent Center.
She was b: 26 Oct 1894 in Montrose, Michigan. Daughter of Charles & Lucy Lannon Alexander. Blanch m: Frederick C. Middleton in Burt, Saginaw Co. Mi 5 Aug. 1913. Their union brought 3 children: James, Lucille & Robert.
Blanch spent most of her life in Durand & was a nurse at McLaren Hospital, Flint till her retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Durand & a member of the Practical Nurse Association. Survived by one son: Robert Middleton: daughter, Lucille Heuter: 10 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren. Blanch was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred (1955) & son James (1962). Memorials to Durand Union Station.
