Lula was the daughter of John Marshall Neal & Anna Maddox. She married Millard F. Allison on Dec. 14, 1904 in Milton, WV. Millard died 28 Dec 1916, in Poca, WV of consumption. They had a daughter Inez, who also died in 1916, and is buried with her father in Putnam County. A younger daughter died as an infant and is also buried in the same cemetery with Millard and Inez.
