She married Elmer Derr on Jan. 4, 1928, in Smith Center, Kan.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990; and a son, Eugene Derr.
Survivors are: son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Norma Derr of Grand Island; daughters and son-in-law, Nadean Seymour of Grand Island and Lynda and Terry Garver of Hastings; 23 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 42 great-great-grandchildren and three great-great-great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Betty Derr of Giltner and a host of friends and relatives.
Mrs. Derr received her education in Giltner. The couple lived in Grand Island, before moving to the Giltner area. In 1947, they returned to Grand Island. Mrs. Derr was employed at Kaufman's Department Store, the Conoco Cafe, and then worked for over 11 years at Delicious Foods in Grand Island. She retired in 1976.
Agnes loved to sew, grow flowers and produce, and to can vegetables. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and a member of the ladies social group in the Giltner area.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Bradley Garver; a great-granddaughter; her brother, A.F. (Shorty) Salmon; a son-in-law, John Seymour Jr.; a half-sister, Mildred Cline; and a half-brother, Clyde Detamore.
