She married Thomas Charlton Riley, a saleman from Savannah, Georgia, and they lived in Dallas, Texas and then Hammond, Louisiana. She died in Louisiana at about age 72 on September 6, 1972 and is buried at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church Cemetery in Hammond by her husband.
