Survivors include his wife, Diane Gallahan; his daughters, Melissa Harrison and her fiancé, Chris Collier, of Ruckersville, and Sherry Markel and her husband, Travis, of Prince George County; his brothers Leroy and Roger; his sisters, Ruth, Barbara, Betty, Nora, and Katty; his grandchildren, Leanna Perkey, Russell Perkey, Jr., Allen Perkey, Julia Perkey, Alex Markel, and Zach Markel; great granddaughter, Madison Strawmyer; and numerous nieces, nephews, and aunts.
He was preceded in death by his son, Boyd Ashton Gallahan, Jr; his mother, father, sister, and his brother.
A service will be held at1 p.m. Tuesday, August 3 at Stafford Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Pastor Bill Jessup and Pastor Naethan Hendrix.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 2 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
