Murphy - Rosemond Mattox of 100 Bayless Street died Sunday in a Murphy hospital.
Mrs. Mattox had lived in Murphy most of her life, and her parents were the late Harry P. and Rosalina Ketron Cooper. She was a member of Murphy United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, H.A. Mattox; 2 sons, Phil Mattox of Portsmouth, NH; and Harry Mattox of Fairfax, VA; and 2 grandsons.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy. The Rev. Don Routh will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery.
