On September 14, a telegram was received in this city announcing the death of Mr. Olney L. Brown at Iron River hospital, Iron River, Michigan where he was in the employ of the Wells Lumber Company. The cause of his death was given as a fractured skull resulting from an accident.
His remains were brought to Northfield Friday and interment was made in Hazelwood cemetery at 9:30 a.m.
Mr. Brown was on his way from Washington, R.I. to this city to join his wife and family who recently arrived here to visit with Mrs. Brown's mother. The news of his sudden death was a great shock to the family.
