MINNIE HANLEY
---Mrs. Minnie Hanley, a resident of Elmer most of her life, died July 21 at the age of eighty-six, Mrs. Hanley was, for many years, the Home Press correspondent in Elmer.
---She was born Minnie Wright, daughter of Stanbury and Marilla Prentice Wright on June 25, 1868.
---On may 21, 1896 she was married to Charles Hanley. To this union four children were born, I.D. Hanley of Claremore, Oklahoma, C.C. Hanley of Longview, Texas and Mrs. Helen Reynolds of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The fourth child, Hazel, died July, 1907, at the age of eighteen months. Her husband died February 16, 1906.
---Besides the three children, there survive a sister, Mrs. Ernest Lyon of Donaldson, Iowa; a nephew, Roy LeForce and six grandchildren.
---She was a member of the Elmer Christian Church where services were held Friday afternoon with Rev. Charles Crawford officiating. Burial was in the Elmer Cemetery.
---Pallbearers were Pat Wigel, James Morris, Henry Thomas, D.A. Drake, L.P. Milney and D.T. Herrin.
