William was the son of Adam & Sarah (Spargur) Bashore. He was born, lived and died in Paint Township, Highland County Ohio. His wife Emma L preceded him in death.
At the time of William's death, he had retired from the agricultural field, he died from a cerebral hemorrhage due to arterial sclerosis. William also suffered from dementia and had some sort of paralysis for his final 5 years of life.
