The State Patrol said Ethel A. Tholo, 68, Route 1, Eatonville, Pierce County, died Sunday night when the car her husband was driving smashed into a vehicle as Tholo was making a turn onto State secondary highway 5-N, 14 miles south of Puyallup, The victim's husband- 72-year- old Severt 0. Tholo - suffered shock and facial lacerations. Another passenger in the Tholo car, Marquite Hansen, 64, Eatonville, received head injuries and cuts. Driver of the other car, Jerold W. Akins, 17, Tacoma, suffered cuts and bruises. He was listed in good condition at a Puyallup hospital.
