Mr. Brady was the son of the late John S. and Elizabeth Brady, andwas born in Conewago Township, Nov. 11, 1965. His wife, who before marriage was Agatha C. Althoff, prededed him in death in April 4, 1928.
For the past forty years Mr. Brady served as organist of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Hanover, and prior to that was organist of St. Mary's Catholic Church, McSherrystown. During his years as churchorganist, Mr. Brady composed and played many hymns for special services, some of which are now in constant use in Catholic churches. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph's Catholic church, Hanover.
Surviving him are six children: John B. Brady, Baltimore; Leo A.J. Brady, York; Charles E. Brady, McSherrystown; Sister Irma Magdalen, Westernport, Maryland; Paul T. Brady, Boston, Massachusetts, and Loretta A. Brady, at home; nine grandchildren; two brothers, James Brady, Hanover and Clement Brady, Richmond, Indiana, and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Leitch and Mrs. Mary Reise, Baltimore.
Funeral services Saturday morning with a solemn high requiem mass at 9 o'clock in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Hanover, the Very Rev. James A. Huber, rector, officiating. Burial in the family plot in St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery.
