Mrs. Anna Margaret Gaff died at her home at 906 Sixth Avenue, yesterday afternoon following an illness of six months. She was born February 2, 1850, at York, Pa., moving to Fayetteville, where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage with Samuel Gaff at Chambersburg on January 1, 1869, coming to Altoona in 1879 and residing here until her death. She is survived by her husband and one son, H. L. Gaff; one brother, George Rupert, of St. Joseph, Mo.; a half sister, Mrs. Ida Jacobs, of York, and two half brothers, Crawford and William of Chambersburg. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church and a member of the Second Lutheran Church of this city. Funeral services will be held at the home at a time announced later. The remains will be taken to Chambersburg for burial.
