Obituary, Friday November 15, 2002, The HERALD-CHRONICLE, Winchester, Tennessee: DANIELL, Jean Porter Beachboard, age 87 of Winchester passed away Saturday morning, Nov. 9, 2002 at home. She was born March 25, 1915 at the Henderson-Clark- Moore home. Her parents were Alice Porter Clark Beachboard and Zachary Pearl Beachboard. She attended East Tennessee State Teacher's College and was a home economics graduate of UT-Knoxville in 1935. She taught home economics in Tullahoma and Loudin, Tennessee and in MacClenny, FL. She was a homemaker and a volunteer scout leader. She was a faithful member of the Winchester church of Christ. She was a wonderful hostess and had the gift of hospitality. She is survived by husband James Franklin Daniell, Sr., three sisters Anna Louise Joyce, Linda Carter and Glenda Eddings, a brother Bill Beachboard and stepmother Pauline Finch Beachboard, son Dr. James F. Daniell, Jr. of Nashville, two daughters Betty Ann Cutts of Morehead, KY and Jean Porter Daniell of Winchester and five grandchildren, David Ross Cutts, Jr., Matthew Daniell Cutts, James Brandon Daniell, Megan Elizabeth Hurt and Jonathan David Daniell and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The service was Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Brother Jeff Walton officiating. Interment was in Franklin Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Franklin County Christian Scholarship Fund in care of the Winchester Church of Christ.
