VIRGIL GUSTIN
Virgil "Pinkie" Gustin, 85, Rt. 4, died Friday morning in St. John's Medical Center after an extended illness.
A lifelong resident of Anderson, he retired in 1965 from Delco Remy after 39 years of service. He was an Army veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy (Gray) Gustin; a daughter, Mrs. John (Linda) Bingaman of Anderson; a son, Donald Gustin of Bulverde, TX; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Robert D. Loose Funeral Home with the Rev. Edwin Wilkinson of Southern Heights Christian Church officiating.
Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
