Georgia Geneva Madrid, of Harrison, was born April 15, 1936, at Western Grove, a daughter of Clyde and Walsie (Campbell) Hammond. She died Saturday, June 9 (2007) at Springdale, at the age of 71.
She was a homemaker and a member of Union Road Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jay Madrid; and one sister, Juanita Hathcock.
She is survived by one son and his wife, Mike and Jeanie Madrid of Rogers; three brothers, Clyde Hammond of Santa Barbara, Calif. and Benny and Bill Hammond, both of Harrison; three grandchildren, Jordan Estes, Heather Madrid and Christy Cops, all of Rogers.
Closed casket graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Bellefonte Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Eddings officiating. Pallbearers will be church members. There will be no visistation. Memorials may be made to the church of your choice. Arrangements are by Holt Memorial Chapel.
