GUERNSEY, DONALD "JIM" SR. 78, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was a retired insulator for the Asbestos Workers Union and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his father William H Guernsey. Mother Alma Florence Schoel his wife, Anna Lee Mull Guernsey Dec 25 2005 and a brother Bill Guernsey.
Surviving are son, Donald James Guernsey Jr., Henryville; three daughters, Karen Kaelin (Mike), Salem, IN, Connie Roll (Clarence), Louisville and Linda Carpenter, Henryville; grandchildren, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Ashley and Warren Kaelin, Jessica and Lydia Carpenter, and Kelsey, Brittany, Jamee and Madison Guernsey; great-grandson, Everett "Oscar" Kaelin.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, IN with funeral services at 11a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Underwood IN
