Funeral services for Clotile Oxford, 84, of Ruston, LA will be 2:00 PM Thursday, October 21, 2004 at the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston with Rev. Wendell Sellers officiating. Interment will follow at Buckner Cemetery in Sharon, Community, LA.
Miss Oxford passed away on Tuesday, October 19th, in Ruston following a brief illness.
Miss Oxford was of the Baptist faith. She attended Louisiana Polytech Institute, now LA Tech University. Miss Oxford was an Accountant for many years and worked most of her life in Dearborn Heights, MI. She retired here in 1990. Miss Oxford was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter Henry Oxford, Carleton Oxford and John odis Oxford; and by her sister, Gladys Ione O. Sanders.
She is survived by her brother Harry Owen Oxford of Ruston and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Oxford, Wayne Oxford, Louie Miller, Tracy Houck, Randy Frasier and Patrick Thomas.
Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the charity of donor's choice.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 20th, at the funeral home.
