This Anna Bowker is my 5th-ggm and I've done some deep digging into the documents to figure out her parents. For sure, she is the daughter of Luke Bowker and Joanna Dunbar, born on 13 Sep 1753 in Scituate, Mass. The distinction between her and her 2nd cousin, the other "Anna Bowker" born exactly a year earlier on 13 Sep 1752, the daughter of John Bowker and Anna Wright, can be found in the Damon Genealogy and confirmed in the Stowell Genealogy. Specifically, "the two Bowker sisters, Lucy and Anna, married the two Damon brothers, Simeon and Samuel." Only John and Anna Bowker had two daughters named Anna and Lucy. Once you see that, then when you look at the names of the children of each of the Anna Bowker's, that you then see how they honor their ancestors.
