The John Bedell who married Susannah Valentine (1703-1773) was born in about 1706. John Bedell (1706-1768) was the son of John Bedell (1684-1759) and Mary Linnington (1687-1750) who married in about 1705 in NY and settled in Hempstead, Long Island, NJ to have their family (6 children, including John who married Susannah Valentine) before moving to NJ. John Bedell's (1684-1759) 19 Aug 1758 will (proved 31 May 1759) confirms this. This FAG entry is confusing folk.
