Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Alfred B. Noyce

Funeral services were held Monday for Alfred Boynton Noyce, resident of the Steamboat vicinity for 40 years who died Wednesday, Dec. 5. Services at the Methodist church were in charge of Rev. Alfred M. Carlyon.

Mr. Noyce was born at Irvington, Douglas county, Neb., Jan. 12, 1869. He spent his childhood and early young manhood in the vicinity of his birth. He came to Colorado when 21 and was employed for some time in the mines at such places as Silverton, Kokomo and Leadville. About 40 years ago he came to this part of the state and took up a homestead in Twentymile park.

He was a man of great industry and hard work and of a modest disposition. He was a faithful member of the Methodist church of Steamboat and at the time of his death was a member of the board of trustees.

Mr. Noyce had never married. He is survived by two brothers, Henry Noyce of Steamboat Springs and Frederick Noyce of Omaha, Neb., and 15 nieces and 18 nephews.
