Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon, May 9, at 2 o'clock at Harpole Funeral Home for Letty Mason, 83, long-time Spirit Lake resident who died Monday morning, May 7, at Edwards Nursing home here.
She was born March 19, 1873, in Warren County, the daughter of Matilda White and Ziba Khunse. She married Grant Mason on Jan. 31, 1907, at Spirit Lake.
She is survived by Lester White of Spirit Lake and Earl White of Milford, both cousins, and other cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
The Rev. C. B. Wittstruck of the First Methodist church of Spirit Lake officiated at the service. Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery here. Special music was provided by Mrs. Iva Slagle.
