He was born in Sunnyside to Abraham E. and Margaret "Maggie" Tatton Day October 20, 1908. He married Frances Vogrinec Oct. 7, 1933; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. As an active membe of the LDS Church, he held numerous positions throughout the years. After retiring from the coal mines after 45 years he became and avid fisherman and gardner.He is survived by his wife, Frances of Price; daughter, Gloria Rosenhan and husband, Bill and one son, Blain; two sisters, Bertrude Baldwin and LaVea Peterson; two brothers, Boyde and LaMar Day; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sat., Dec. 19, 1992 at 1 p.m. in the Price North Stake Center. Friends may call Friday evening 6-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial, Price City Cemetery.
