Excert from the family record of Ann Lee Eubank Hayslip:

They were buried, side-by-side, in the field west of their house; two walnut trees stood near enough to throw a shadow over their graves. The graves of Virginia Bransford - daughter-in-law - and two little infant grandchildren were the first buried there.

Virginia Landrum (daughter of Virginia Bransford_above named) who was raised from birth by Thomas and Anna Lee Bransford, visited the grave of her mother and good old foster parents, her grandmother and grandfather, the summer of 1860, 7 years after the last interment there and wrote this:

"I visited my dear old home this summer, but it did not appear like it used to. I went to the graves of our dear old grandpa, and grandmother, and cannot describe my feelings while there. The railing has fallen down, and the graves are covered with thorn bushes and breir. In a few years it will not be known where they are buried."

The old home was 2 1/2 miles from Glasgow, north of the Burksville Road.
