My Mother, Ruth Edwards, died on September 7, 1999 after 6 years of poor health. She was married to Gordon L. Edwards in 1929 and their children are Laura Lear, Betty Aycock, Lavon Hyde, and Lee Edwards, Jr.
She was primarily a home maker and was wonderful cook and seamstress. She was a Girl Scout leader and taught children in Sunday School at Baptist churches for 40 years.
Mother was a good friend and neighbor and always had some person that she was "looking after".
I will never stop missing her.
